Jimmy Ray Flynt (born June 20, 1948) is the estranged brother of Larry Flynt, who produces adult videos and magazines, most notably Hustler. The company has an annual turnover of approximately $300 million. Flynt has been tried alongside his brother Larry Flynt in many battles involving the First Amendment - most notably in 1977 for obscenity charges in Cincinnati, Ohio. Larry was convicted; Jimmy was acquitted. The conviction was overturned. [1][2] In October 2011, Jimmy Flynt sued his brother for $20 million alleging wrongful termination. In May 2011, a federal judge ruled that Larry Flynt is the sole owner of Hustler and his brother is not entitled to half of the empire. The judge stated Jimmy failed to provide any evidence demonstrating himself as a partner. [3]
